Therefore, these instructions are important because they are from the owner of Yellowtail Marine. Robyn Gilcrist’s should ask Sarah Clarke to confirm both the appointment with the client and the flight ticket to Miami. She should ask Sarah Clarke to do this, because she is very friendly and is willing to help with whatever she can. Also, during the flights to Miami and San Diego Ms. Gilcrist’s should use her time wisely by writing some of her strategy ideas during this time and she can also get ready for the conversation with Mr. Boswell.
Item 5: Next, Ms. Gilcrist’s should deal with a critical problem at the plant, since the yard manager is on vacation. However, the problem is not clear. The yard foreman assumes that it could be the new foam used during the injections or “men causing the problem.” Based on this Ms. Gilcrist should give the order to stop using the new foam, because it’s unclear what is damaging the product. Then, she should contact a repair person that could diagnose the problem and mean while employees should continue the production by using the old method. Item 13 and 14: A representative from OSHA, Arch Towne, is on the hall with two men the purpose of the visit is due to the fact that Yellowtail has been chosen to an “in depth investigation”. Before representatives of the management team tour the plant with them, they want to speak with the President first. Therefore, Ms. Gilcrist should assist the inspectors and let them know about the current changes that the company is facing such as the death of Mr. Olaf Gunerson. Then, she should assign a group from the management representatives to keep working with OSHA and to keep her informed about the inspection or of any problems based on this. Item 16 and Item 6: The District Supervisor, George Davidson, of the Environmental Protection Agency has informed that an inspector will call on April 19 to talk about the company’s “plans for complying with the Clear Air and Water Act of 1971.” The reason for this is that some of the agency inspectors found out that Yellowtail Marine is flushing out waste materials into a bay.

Additionally, the company has already sought out some advice based on this because the company lawyer has sent an email regarding this issue. The Therefore, Ms. Gilcrist should schedule a meeting after the funeral with Patrick Finch, who is the company’s legal advisor. During this meeting they should discuss the issue of complying with the Clear Air and Water Act of 1971 and come out with an agreement on how the company should deal with this. Also, the meeting should prepare Ms. Gilcrist for the inspector’s call. Item 1: Robyn Gilcrist’s needs to schedule the show dates that Yellowtail Marine will participate in. My first time in Miami was December 4, 2009. It was a winter morning, but in Miami there wasn’t a hint of coldness in the air. When we first received the news that we were leaving Cuba everyone was excited and when the day finally arrived it was a little less thrilling and a little more somber. Leaving everything behind and moving to a new country was difficult and leaving a lot of our family was worse. “This is for you and your sister’s future” my parents said when we arrived in Miami I believe they were trying to persuade themselves more than us.…

From smelling the salty waters by the Florida Keys, seeing all of the green from the stems of green beans growing, the flavor of the freshest eggs you could get from the coop in the backyard, to the avocado tree growing in the backyard, my trip to Florida had become one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had yet. Visiting Florida taught me many skills on being independent, mentally, and how easy and fun it is just to be to yourself sometimes. It all started Christmas eve when I got home to find my presents from “Santa” there before we even went to bed. My parents had planned on taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas break to see my grandparents, but we were unable to also get my parents there.…
