Year-Round Schooling Argumentative Analysis

Children, all over the world, will benefit from a new modified year-round school schedule. Year-round schooling will prevent loss of knowledge over the summer, stop summer boredom, and create the opportunity for kids to get right back into it at school after break. In the United States, as of 2014, there are only 3,181 schools that have the year-round schedule, 10% of public schools have this option, and only some of the 46 states’ schools run this way. Year-round schooling should be held at all schools.
But the problem with year-round schooling is that most students or parents do not like the idea.Furthermore, 2% of students who have a year-round schedule dropout of high school. Also, some students will not like school as long as it would be. According to Ohio State University, the students with a year-round schedule have no difference in learning compared to students who do not. To add to this kids want to have fun, the shorter breaks make it so there is less time to have fun. These kids may like the one long warm summer. And certain situations may prevent families, or kids, from doing anything.

There will not be any summer boredom, with the shorter breaks. Almost every single student, in the US, has the problem of summer boredom. The kids will not have as much time to be bored. And the teachers at their school could send work home for their students to do. In addition, the students will not need the review work back at school. The students will also be able to learn new things and do something over the gap without school. The parents will also know that their children are doing something to keep their minds going. It will save everyone time: The students and their work, parents trying to get their kids to work,and the teachers will not have to create the lessons. And the kids may want to have the breaks scattered with something to do during that short time, such as

This results in an average of four to six weeks at the beginning of a new school year in a traditional schedule being spent reviewing the previous school years material.
