Not going over my target intake of calories
Justification: Although I didn’t achieve my target intake of calories, not going over was a positive. For all three of my days I was very close to being able to achieve my target. Not going over my recommended target is a positive because if our bodies have to many calories makes use gain weight and if we continue to go over there could be many more health risks in the future.

Goal 1: Drink more water to achieve my daily goal

Justification: Although on of my positives about my diary entry was that I did almost achieve my daily intake of water, I would still like to be able to reach the goal everyday, as being hydrated is one of the most important parts of having a good and well balanced

Give an explanation of the reasons for prioritizing of each of the above goals 1. Firstly, the reason I’d like to reduce the amount of carbs I eat, is because having too many carbs isn’t good for our diets. Eating too may carbs overloads or system with potential energy we can’t use which is then turned into fats. Also carbs such as refined grains and sugars cause make your blood sugar level spike up and then back down. This leaves us feeling hungry and is very bad for us in a variety of ways.
2. The reason I prioritized eating more protein next is because it is a component of every cell in our body. Our bodies need it to build and repair tissues. It is also used to build bones, muscles, cartilage and we need it to make hormones, enzymes and other chemicals our bodies need. Without having the right amount our protein our bodies can’t achieve all of these things we need.
3. The reason for wanting to increase my water intake is because it is used in all its cells, tissues and organs. This is because it is used to maintain bodily functions and regulate its temperature. Our body is always losing water through sweating, breathing and digestion so it’s very important to keep hydrated and eating many foods that contain a good source of
