Located in Yalaha, Florida, one of the oldest inhabited spots in Lake County, is a quaint restaurant called the Yalaha Bakery. The town Yalaha earned it's name when one of the first permanent residents in the area offered a orange to an Indian, who in return said “Yalaha” which means yellow orange. Founded in 1995, the Yalaha Bakery is family owned and known for their authentic German food, beautifully adorned building, and entertainment.

Walking towards the front of the bakery you'll notice intricate designs surrounding the doors and windows. This design consists of flowers, food, and the bakery logo which features two lions with a pretzel in the middle. If you look closely you'll notice how intricate the hand painted details are. Surrounding the building, the landscape is rather lavish with flowers of all colors and stupendous trees. Outdoor seating is also available in the back which allows you to enjoy the scenery while waiting for your food. On display, the back wall features a painting of what appears to be a house in a valley with rolling hilltops. If you choose your seat wisely, you can get a perfect view of the mural.
