The reason for it to be built was a response to unhealthy social conditions arising in big cities. To this day, the YMCA serves more than 45 million people in 119 countries. In order to even think about building a Y, they have to hire approximately 25-40 influential community and business leaders. They must have connections to major potential donors that will help to finance most of the costs. Some people are reluctant to give to an organization in financial trouble. So it is necessary to provide great influential evidence to persuade them that it’s a good idea and a need to our community. Also, the YMCA has to plan a balanced budget for at least the last three years. There does not need to be a specific minimum of people in a community to be able to conduct. Once it is a deal, one must decide where it would be built. It would be build so that it is easy for the people to access it from any location. The best location would be somewhere where there is enough space and very safe for all people. For example, somewhere around the Gretna Sports Complex.
