Ah Xian is an Australian-Chinese artist based in Sydney, Australia. He was a practising artist in China throughout the 1980s and sought political asylum in Australia following the massacre of Tiananmen Square in 1989. Ah Xian sold his first bust to the Powerhouse Museum, and in the year 2000, he held his first solo show in Melbourne. In 2001, he won the National Gallery of Australia's inaugural National Sculpture Prize with his "Human Human : Lotus Cloisonne Figure”. He continues to make sculptures to this day.…

He went out into the world and went through several trials during his journey. He left the Samanas, left the Buddha, and lost himself through indulgence and failed each of those trials. His last trial, committing suicide, was where he came to a realization about everything he has been through. The Zheng He voyages, also known as the “treasure voyages”, were a series of seven Ming dynasty naval voyages that occurred between 1405 and 1433CE. The voyages got the name Zheng He from the commander of the fleet, Admiral Zheng He. The fleet was ordered by Zhu Di, the Yongle Emperor, around the turn of the 15th century. All of the voyages took place during the Yongle era, except for the last, which was launched during the Xuande era. Juror’s Statement Adnan Syed has been put on trial for the murder of Hae Min Lee. Not only has he been charged with life in a high security prison, but also has maintained his innocence for his whole trial and sentencing.
