I want to attend Xaverian Brothers High School for many reasons. One of those reasons is that my brother also goes to school at Xaverian. I attended as Hawk for a day a couple of weeks ago and my brother was my big Hawk. He took me to his classes and showed me around the school. As a freshman I joined the Students with Future Interests in Technology Club, Spanish Club, and Robotics Club. These clubs stayed with me till I graduated high school and I have loved them ever since I got involved in them.…

The best class i have ever taken was "Collage as Refuge". I had to take this class as a last minute resort this past summer and i am so happy i did. I enjoyed it because it first made you choose a place you love, whether it be in nature or a building and visit it every day. we kept a journal on what was going on in our lives. i liked this approach because as many know being a student and working full time can be crazy and to be able to take an hour out of my day to reflect helped.…

While having experienced much success at the Smith School already, having a mentor could have allowed me to enjoy even more success. I would like to have the chance to offer some of my own insight and experience to the incoming freshman, so that they can reach their full potential. Some areas I would focus on to help the incoming freshman achieve the best collegiate career possible are in coursework and internships. Incoming freshman will have many questions regarding coursework and what to expect from classes.…

I thought of myself as a very awkward person that kept everything to herself. But this class made me feel welcomed! Not one of us knew each other so we all started from scratch. The good thing about this class was that we had the same specific class and teacher for both semesters of our first year of college, which was awesome! I ended English 104 with a B. My second class was a Health Education class and it was bit difficult because it was involved with Business.…
