Within Wyoming High School, over half of the school population is identified as a minority. Walking through the hallways among the students, a variety of languages and cultural based references are known throughout the school. Culture is widely welcomed and celebrated. Though Wyoming High School can be considered an ethnic school, majority of the staff is Caucasian, which at times presents difficulties for a staff to student relationships. A teacher within the school discussed further of the cultural barriers that are exhibited between students and staff, while explaining how it affects her supervision relationships.
