Instagram shares beautiful pictures that make a consumer want a vacation, and to specifically book with Wyndham. Twitter allows a personal connection to consumers, along with sharing images. On their Twitter, they have posted several polls to interact with their followers. However, the polls don’t provide too much insight on how to improve their company. The polls are along the lines of “where do you want to travel his fall?” instead of asking for improvement ideas. Therefore, their polls are interactive, but don’t necessarily provide insight to better the company. Most of their pictures are of their hotels or views from their hotels and they provide information on where it is. Therefore, they are encouraging people to book with them and their hotels. Most of the links they post direct the user back to their website to book a trip. However, they periodically post the same link to the same article, “eating on a budget during vacation”. After reviewing this article, it is a mix of a “how-to” and a “list” article. The majority of their content on Twitter is a combination of filler and basic content. Especially since have almost 5,000 followers on Twitter. Most of the “complaints” are regarding minor issues with their website. Some of the more recent tweets are about a planned vacation in Florida that was scheduled during the most recent Hurricane. In all cases of complains, the Wyndham account responds quickly. If the issue occurs with booking errors on their website or something similar, they company asks for a DM of their account number and a good contact information. Regarding the hurricane, the company is responding to concerned or upset people by explaining any damages and keeping them updated. However, there are also a lot of positive messages.
