Wyndham is the most active on Twitter and Instagram. However, they used to be very active on Facebook and have the biggest following there, rather than the other two. With that in mind, Facebook should be included in the conversation about Wyndham’s social media use. As mentioned in previous papers, there are multiple Wyndham accounts on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. However, Wyndham Rewards on Twitter and Instagram and Wyndham Hotels on Facebook are the verified accounts. Therefore, these three accounts will be the focus on this conversation.
The verified Wyndham account is @wyndhamrewards and was created in 2009. Over the past seven years of being created, the account acquired over 8,500 followers and has tweeted over 2,600 times. Considering

Despite the one year difference, both Twitter accounts show the potential for Wyndham. For example, after doing the math, Wyndham tweets about 370 times a year, which is barely over once a day. Beaches tweets about 830 times a year. That means, Beaches tweets a total of 460 more times than Wyndham in one year. Since Disney is already such a big name, the difference between them would be even greater.

Since I’ve been shopping for furniture in the past few weeks, I decided to select for this project two of the many stores I have visited so far, Lowe’s and Big Lots. To me, it seems like fan acquisition is not the first priority for Lowe’s. To find the links to social networking sites in the Lowe’s website, you have to scroll down all the way. In the section “Get Connected” you will find the icons to Lowe’s Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram sites. On the other hand, as soon as you enter the Big Lots website, a pop-up window displays asking you to enter your e-mail address to win $5 dollars off on your $15 dollars purchase.…

Numerous people dismissed Twitter following its launch, opining it was a residence where individuals posted about their food. As if billions of customers would exist on a social network for the lone resolve of posting their food. "Do not be a snob," says Vaynerchuk. "You may not see any value in sharing your thoughts on nail polish, or posting a picture every time you get a new tattoo, or telling the world every time you set foot in a Wendy's, but when 20 million other people do, you need to do something with that information." I got a giggle out of his depiction of Twitter customers: ironic, urban, and hashtag-loving.…
