All 103 statements from the students are represented in figure 1. The 11 clusters that were generated were made during the phase two sorting activity. Statements are grouped together based off of their relevancy, such as 26, 48, 49, and 63, which are in the “Unity” cluster. The statements that were frequently sorted together by the participants were found closer together on the cluster map. Statements such as 102 (Advisors) and 12 (Self Discipline), which are on opposite sides of the map, were less likely grouped together. The cluster map allows for a visual representation of the student ideas of indicators of success. I have chosen to focus on 5.3A because this is an indicator that I plan to focus on next year. This year, I would rate myself a 2.5 out of 4 on this indicator because I feel there is significant room to improve on these practices. Although I have helped student use various resources to create goals for the future, I have not focused on helping them self advocate for the attainment of such nor follow through on these goals throughout the entire year. Many of my students create goals and never make a plan for how they will realistically obtain them. In the future, I hope to encourage students to monitor their goals more closely and help them follow through on said goals throughout the entire year.…

Success often viewed systematically, with rules and schedules that create charts that display accomplishments. GPA, financial returns, portfolio growth, career advancements are all measurements of achievement or failure. True success in life can only be achieved when you live, speak, and act completely within person truth.
