I would like to register how I feel at war to you and papa and Brother Thomas. War is a complete new experience for me; working for long periods without rest seemed to have changed me completely.
Food here was very bad since food was very scarce and we have to ration our foods, each day we had bread, jam, dried fruit, vegetables, meat, pepper, cheese and tobacco. Germans got less though; they only have bread or biscuits, vegetables and dried fruit. Food at war was considered as luxurious at times.
People are digging up even more trenches to fit everybody, some under-age kids are crying and some are still brave enough to be in war. I saw bombs and airplanes up in the sky and some places were filled just minefields. The feeling of
