A night jump into Nazi-controlled territory isn’t what I pictured when I joined the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). The brutal training at Camp X had prepared me for every situation, but not a suicide mission.
“Captain Jenson, are you listening?" General Travis pauses his mission briefing.
"Yes, sir, General, just having a bit of trouble wrapping my head around Nazi flying saucers."

Stealing a pilot's uniform, I order the aircraft prepared for testing. Walking cautiously across the tarmac I know this may be my last stroll. With every step, I take my breath catches and have to force myself to release I'm hoping they can’t see the beads of sweat falling from my brow.
I climb inside and hope the controls are intuitive, and my German is still sharp. I just have to get it out over the nearby water and scuttle it in the Baltic Sea. I will be a one-way trip unless I can swim ashore, but I’m not counting on miracles. The aircraft is sinking, and the cold seawater is making my arms and legs numb. My breathing is getting more labored. The "flying saucer" is trying to get revenge, sucking me down into it and my legs refuse to kick. I feel myself sinking.
“Grab him,” an old man yells in Swedish. “Quick before he sinks.”
As I hit a wooden deck and my eyes open and the sky fills with fire, noise, and smoke, then I drift back slowly into

11/25 I stopped my reading for one day to relax my mind; I was unconsciously effected by the war Ishmael was in. I detested the rebel who killed his family, friends, and country. The war between the government and the rebels ruined the citizens peaceful lives. Families were separated, and children were brought to fright against their friend in different sides.
