What Writing Skills Did You Learn In English Class

Nowadays, the writing skills are important for the college students. They must have very long essay and some summaries in college life. As for me, the writing skills, including reading and grammar, have changed several times throughout my life. I was influenced by my family and the various teachers I had over my academic carrier when these changes have happened. When I had begun to study English, I knew few little about the writing skills, but the procedure I have received over my academic carrier functioned to form my spirit and skill about writing. I learned that writing skills are learned through reading, learning English, practicing essay writing, and focusing on content before grammar.

When I was a high school student, my school did not have a few high reinforcement programs. School just had two high school English teachers. English teacher of my first year had a very monotonous voice. He assigned a lot of vocabulary exercises and read aloud from his grammatical handbook. For the way to which my teacher has mainly submitted that, I was disillusioned with writing a little between the eighth grade. After I worked with the first teacher, the teacher who is one of the English teachers was changed for second and third year. Second teacher’s teaching style was quite similar to first teacher’s teaching style. Second teacher assigned much vocabulary assignments and focused on grammar and spelling. At the end of each term, second teacher required students to submit five pages of study paper. She did not have the interest in this class very much, and after spending almost one year as second teacher’s student, I did not have the interest in the English as well. I have begun to regard my English homework as the tedious allocation I could read readily easily without reading perfectly. Indeed I got very high grade in a English class, but I hardly learned very
