Prewrite: I had planned to write the persuasive essay 3 weeks before the essay was due. It was because it would give me an extra time to correct my grammar errors, and revise it. I chose Bobnak’s essay to write about cheating in high school because her essay was short, and easy to read. Also, Cheating was an only one thing that I had a strong feeling. I read her essay several times and started to write my introduction.
Write: I came up with my topic sentences based on my thesis statement, and quotes in her essay. At this stage, I read and followed the writing assignment information to build each body paragraph which was required to write in “paragraph sandwiches” format. After I finished my essay, I corrected grammatical errors and preposition
