Harrington first backs her assertion with ways to prevent writer’s block with an antidote that works for her; second, with an explanation of her own struggles as an obsessed writer; and lastly, through her experience working with students who are “paralyzed with fear” in a classroom. Her purpose of writing this article is to inform rookie writers to not fear this so called disease as a way of giving up on the one thing they love. Even though Harrington writes this article to writers, her way of writing and her eye catching title attracts young college students who are struggling with their writings who crave help for their ideas to flow into their own work.…

This 13-minute film, which was directed by Brandon Polanco and written by him and Spenser Granese, came to life in 2012 after Hurricane Sandy hit. The storm temporarily ceased production of the film, "Cold Comes the Night," starring Bryan Cranston who is best known for his roles in "Malcom in the Middle" and "Breaking Bad. " While the crew waited for production to resume, Cranston devised a contest where the film's production assistants had to create a script and submit it to him.…

We were given large sheets of oat colored paper with three parallel lines widely spaced. The alphabets were used to print and write in cursive using the midpoint, and upper lines for capital letters. The handwriting grades were based on neatness and readability.…

“There is absolutely nothing to write about, school is either too easy to have problems or useless to try to solve them,” I thought as I read my writing prompt. The sheet of paper stated that too write about a time that I worked to solve a problem at school. The only events I could manage to think of were when the class had down time and solved a bug in a program, which wasn’t really school related, and having to present a paper, but that topic had been used for a paper in 7th grade. To avoid being called out for not writing, I started writing random sentences until the idea came to me to write about having to think of a topic to write about. The only issue with that is that I still couldn’t write.…

Once I am writing I can not stop until I can express all of my ideas onto paper and I am satisfied with how it sounds. I do feel exhausted at times when I have writer’s block, but I do get an inner happiness when I complete a writing piece. In the cases of having writer’s block, it does take a toll on me because my frustration intensifies the longer I take on writing a “masterpiece” as I call it because I have standards for myself. I take great pride in making sure each word is the best fit in my writing which is one of the main reasons for my frustrations. One thing I refuse to do to myself is to force myself to write when I have no spark because then I will lose motivation.…

I have many irritating difficulties while writing just about anything because I do not enjoy writing very much at all. That is my main problem with writing that makes tasks that involve writing hard. But a prime example of something that I found difficult would be any creative writing that I have ever done in any class setting because that is what I don’t like about writing the most.
