2. Write what you have learned or relearned about being assertive. There is a fine line between being assertive and stepping over a person’s boundary. Yet, I have always found that being assertive and using a respectful tone will both help and benefit me in the long run. I have always been someone to stand up for myself or others, so I have simply relearned the importance of being assertive. I also know that it is all about tone, if I have a problem I always allow myself to think about it from the other person’s point of view. By doing this, I feel like it helps me better explain why something needs to be changed for the better.

I believe this is the most important to success in college and in life because it is the best way to make the most out of any situation. I think of the creator mindset as simply thinking and finding the best solution. An attitude or a way of life, a rule to follow that means something such as this can and will help anyone in their lives. Showing up for things is great, and trying your best is important. But the creator mindset is the driving force behind those reasons. Without it, the victim mindset starts up, which could lead to ideas such as: “I don’t need to try because I am a bad learner” Or “I don’t need to show up because it is stupid.” A positive mindset, mixed with always looking for the best outcome is what leads to success. Beyond school, this life rule can be applied anywhere. Work, relationships, the possibilities are endless. Thinking for solutions keep the mind focus and goal driven, while at the same time keeping the body ready and willing to overcome any obstacle as they
