Write An Essay On Welp

Welp, the first couple weeks were awkward.A Lot of going through stuff, introductions, bunch of figuring out how stuff works around class, figuring out who likes you and who don’t. It’s just peachy, new beginnings, old endings, trying to see your way into your new path, and then you get comfortable on the path, it all starts to feel like a normal straight line. Like it’s nature. Then it throws stuff at you, essays, friends, drama, grades, fun, fear, papers, organization. It's all a big mess when you go down the road. Being on the teacher's good side, trying to make people happy whilst you are around, trying to make sure everyone else has a good year, as well as trying to reach a goal ( it's not doing well). Last year, stuff wasn't as stressful as this year, but still stressful, friends are easy come easy go these days, so most the people i’ve known for some time are online ( yes I one of those nerds). I do a little this, do a little that, play some ball with my dad, play my guitar even though I have no idea how to play. But I gotta stretch this out and I accidentally went out of order. My lunch is good, I mean I now buy everyday instead of packing everyday. A …show more content…
And I hope that the advice I was given by the past 8th graders help me, because from past experience, you’re always wanna be one step ahead.because whether I like my day, don’t like the people i'm with, like the homework, hate the teachers, get punched in the face, have a bad day, get work done, miss some work, be insulted, get hit in the back of the head with a ball, break my first bone, go to summer camp, be in the hospital again, have a food contest, have my crown in the dance regained, join the military, become hideous, get a job, get bad grades, learn magic, learn kungfu, have a horrible accident that causes me to talk backwards, cause an “accident” for someone to talk backwards, you just gotta know… how to get through it all, when you accomplish that, nothing can stop

It was 11:45 pm, we had the car packed, the moving truck loaded and on its way, and all of our goodbyes said to our family and friends, and set out to our new home in Georgia. It took us about 13-14 hours, but we finally arrived at 1:23 pm having driven the entire night, exhausted but still eager to see what is in Georgia. When we stepped out of the car for the first time, we were welcomed by a brisk December afternoon with a light breeze, something completely different from the sweltering heat of the south that we were told about. After adjusting ourselves from sitting for so long, we went and started trying to get everything settled. Once everything was settled, we started our first day of school.…

Graduation speech Juan C “Nothing is over until the moment you stop trying.”- Bryan Dyson Being Comfortable has been a real struggle for me these past years i’ve been here in holmes.6th grade for a 5th grader is scary, not knowing what is coming for you. 7th grade becomes easier because you already have an idea of how junior high is. 8th is all about reflecting over 6th and 7th grade. But it’s not always about problems, stress and sadness, there's also good times, like when we went to camp duncan in 6th grade, when I performed in the V-Show in 7th grade,…

When I had my first meeting about my senior year schedule and my counselor told me I could graduate early, I immediately said yes. I didn’t think about all that would go along with it and at the time I had no idea so in an attempt to convince me not to graduate early, my counselor told me to think about it and really weigh out my options. I thought about it a lot and didn’t see a single reason against it. 2 weeks later, after speaking to my parents I went right back to him and told him I am graduating early. He then asked me what's my plan.…

A lot of work goes into putting together a marching band show. The band has to learn and memorize all of the music while paying attention to dynamics, time signatures, and tempos. On top of all of this music, a band has to learn over forty different formations to march to on the field. Before any of this can happen there must be practice. We learn how to march at the beginning and we learn how to play our instruments early on.…

On top of that I was taking an honors Biology class that everyone said was a tough class with a strict teacher. Everyone was making it seem like the end of the world, so I thought maybe they were exaggerating a little. Well, that changed after the first 20 minutes of taking that class. And it got worse each day. The teacher would give us homework every night, pop quizzes twice a week and impossible tests.…

School became a lot harder, especially because in the past I found it pretty easy to complete assignments and course work with only average effort and still be happy with my marks. I found I really needed to put time into studying for the first time. I became more stressed about academic success, and the social pressure in our grade skyrocketed to an all-time high. Meanwhile, I was expected to be at practice for a minimum of 1.5-2 hours a night, plus some weekends and a few mornings. I also enjoy being active throughout different areas of the school, in which my various commitments added up quickly, none of which I wanted to…

Advice that I would give to any freshman would be, do your work pay attention and don't skip. Those are my three biggest pieces of advice that I feel any freshman should know. If I knew how much I could have benefitted from this sooner I would have, so here I am telling you, don't skip, pay attention to your teachers and do your work! When you skip, you miss a lot, compared to the Jr. High, your grades go down so easy but to get them up is like walking with 500 pounds on your shoulders. It’s just not worth it.…

Eli, I’m sorry that I haven’t talked to you sooner. Everything just got jumbled up the last couple months of school, and testing and graduation just bunched together into this massive ball of stress. My 8th grade year was just alright. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t exactly picture-perfect, it was just smack dab in the middle. Some classes were just plain boring (cough, cough, Mrs. Walton) but the class that I most enjoyed was surprisingly, English with Ms. Toll.…
