Back in the 1600s, people would be accused of being a witch and for doing witchcraft. A witch was a powerful being, being able to conjure many spells. There was a witch named Alabi. She had several pets, of which she “played” with. But, most of them played “dead” when she did. She had been doing this since she was 14. She was currently 17, and she was getting lonely. She had started out with 100, but they all played dead. Her parents were destroyed by one of her pets, but she didn’t really care, only taking her 10 seconds to get over it. It was time for her to get a pet, one who wouldn’t play dead and live with her forever. She walked the streets of Salem, making sure her witch mark was covered under her hoodie. She walked in shady, creepy allies, but couldn’t find something that wasn’t already a pet she’d had. As she sullenly walked back to her freak house, she saw a hand-sized hairy spider approach her. She shrieked - not because it was scary, but because she’d never seen something like it. It’s color was magnificent. It was a brownish green color. She injected the spider with a numbing elixir so it wouldn’t move while they played. She boiled some water and potions together, making a sour smell waft into the air. She picked up the spider with thongs and slowly put him deeper into the pot, but the spider didn’t show signs of being scared. He kept a straight face. Alibi wasn't used to this, not at all. Her pets would tremble before her while she played with them. Alibi couldn’t hurt this spider, not when he wasn’t even scared! She had finally been beaten at her own game.
