First off, The Crips are an African American gang founded in Los Angeles California in 1969. Throughout the years this gang expanded to be one of the bulkiest and prevailing gangs in the United States, with more than 30,000 gang members. The Crips are known to be muddled in robberies, murders, drug dealing, and many other criminal pursuits. The Crips ultimately became the most powerful gang in California. The Blood was founded on Piru Street in the Compton, California in 1970. In 1970 many different African-American gangs surface in an effort to protect themselves from the many Crip gangs forming in the area. This particular gangs is the Bloods, which came to be one of the other most violent and lawless African-American gangs in Los Angeles. They stared as the "Compton Pirus." …show more content…
There is many colors that can the gangs and the houses of the Montagues and Capulets can classified themselves. The Crips associated themselves with the color blue. With this being the Crips, the Blood use the color red to show who's in there gang. Just like these two gangs the houses also have color. The Montagues are the color blue just like the crips. This makes the Bloods and the Capulets to have to same color, red. The house of the Montagues and Capulets not just have the color they classified the same as presented day gangs they also constantly fighting with each other, and have cases of murders. These group can cause many murders between each other like how Tybalt kills Mercutio, but later is killed by Romeo out of anger and revenge. This sequence also happens to the crips and the bloods, if a crips murders a blood they will avenge there death by taking a crips life and it goes the other way
