Beyond, that cortes marched into mexico with 400 soldiers. Aztecs got defeated by Tlocalo and Huejotzingo in 1515 ce. Acholha region and Azcapotzalco went to war. Aztecs religion was divided up into 4 quadrants. Also, they worshipped Huitzilopochtli. The men preferred human sacrifice, Quetzalcoatl created the humans. They called themself Culhuah. They started to, feed their gods gods human blood. However, the gods tribal bird is the humming bird. The Tezcatlipoca believed that they can turn into a jaguars. Today, many scholars think that cortes was the god - hero. They told their people sacrificing human blood makes world go round. There was only some freedom of what school they wanted. There were two branches of school. In fact, the Telpochcalli were taught culture, religion , trading, and skills. Men worked at farms, traveled, and traded. Adults enjoy themselves by doing arts. The Carnac got taught to be doctors, teachers, priests. Girls would be married at middle teens. But if girls don't get married they stay in temple and work and care for family. Don't forget about the boys they get married based on religion. Very interesting the boys had a wider education than girls. Boys were taught to fighting skills, how to trade, and archery. Its boys choice if they want to join the military. There were slaves they were treated well. Slaves children got freed if u wanted unslaved u would have to be purchased.

Some Aztecs died of smallpox the others got hung. The Spanish murdered thousands of Aztecs while they were doing a ritual dance. Tenochtitlan greeted Aztecs and honored them as guest.
