In Chapter Six the topic of race and ethnicity is discussed. Within the reading it goes beyond black and white, discussing the inequalities different ethnicities face. Personally, racism is something I cannot fully wrap my head around. Why judge someone based on their race or ethnicity? An individual shouldn’t be criticized solely based on their race; they should be looked at beyond that. Yet, a person’s race shouldn’t be overlooked either. Nevertheless, racism does exist and is still prominent in today’s society. In terms of solving it there isn’t a real way to; discrimination will presumably always exist in some way. Judging someone because of their race/ethnicity is morally wrong because it isn’t something an individual can or should yearn
