Write An Essay On How To Write A Letter To Buchanan

Paxton, I have been trying to write this letter all summer. I know that sounds super cheesy, but I have started it and erased it so many times. I can’t figure out how to put the words I want to say on paper. I am so appreciative of you for being such an inspiration and role model for me. If you hadn’t come to Buchanan I don’t know if I would be where I am today. When Kaite Allen introduced you everyone had talked about how they had met you before and I thought you would favor everyone else over me, but in reality you really didn’t. In some ways you did, but any good director, teacher, or person will favor the people they think have the most potential. There are a lot of times where I know people hated you for always favoring people, but you’re human. You were very fair in a lot of the stuff that you did at Buchanan. You made Bearstage something that people should be thankful they were a part of. I know I am very thankful to have been a part of Bearstage and been able to work with you. Over the past two years you have taught me so much and encouraged me to be able to go to college with the confidence to assistant stage manage as a freshman. During my time at Buchanan I didn’t give you nearly enough credit for all that …show more content…
If you had been hired my freshman year I know I would be so much more successful. I still do consider everything I have done at Buchanan the last two years extremely successful, especially my show. I know throughout the second semester I kept saying how I hated my show and it didn’t go as planned, but up until the actual performances I gained a lot of experience and that is what is truly important. You helped me gain every piece of experience from that show. I do still think that it was a failure because it didn’t turn out how I wanted it to, but you expanded my knowledge of directing and patience! You are the reason I want to keep pursuing theater and stage

What I interpreted from this article were Pat Buchanan’s criticism of liberal standings and emphasis on conservative beliefs and positions on social issues in the United States. Buchanan was determined to defend American traditions and values. He was also determined to fight for the conservative side of the war. In his address, Buchanan discusses his thoughts on President Bush’s beliefs and how he agreed with many ideas. Based on my additional research on Pat Buchanan, was born into a catholic family and attended a catholic school; hence why he agreed with President Bush on the “freedom to choose religious schools.”…

Tom Buchanan is labelled as a hulking, hyper-masculine, and aggressive. The way Nick describes him, he seems to be “one of those men who reach such an acute limited excellence at twenty-one that everything afterwards savours of anti-climax” (Fitzgerald 10). Tom is born into old money, and because of that, he is able to have many opportunities in life that benefited him such as his ability to go to Yale and receive such a high education. Also due to the fact that Tom had virtually no financial worries, he is able to live more of a carefree lifestyle that eventually led to his somewhat uncaring personality. While living nearly his entire life surrounded by those of similar upbringing, Tom has learned to be racist and proves it by even telling…

Knowledge can help us grow as individuals, but it can also be a heavy burden, threatening to crush us with its weight. I acquired such burdensome knowledge in a little book by the name of The Catcher in the Rye. So when I gave Mr. Enos, my English teacher, a thank-you card as a token of appreciation just before the winter break of 2016 started, the words of Holden Caulfield, the protagonist in the book, came to mind; “’How would you know you weren't being a phony?’”. Herein was my problem.…
