Do you text and drive? With phones being modernized its easy for drivers to be distracted by their phones. Teens with adults alike don't need to use their phones while driving. Yet they still do putting people at risk every time they check a text, change a song or answer the phone. Using their phones may cause them to get pulled over by the law enforcement or be in an accident. First of all, using your cellphone nowadays is normal. But using it while driving is frowned upon. Using it while driving can result in getting in trouble with authorities. Phones being a massive temptation, they make us forget what we are doing to answer a text. When answering that text you could start to swerve around if you are driving. Swerving while driving …show more content…
However not everyone agrees. With people driving and having newer devices they are tempted. Using your phone while driving might be OK if you are reporting something or if you have an emergency related call. But if you are reporting or answering a call with emergency services still pull to the side of the road. People will argue that it is easy to drive a while using your cellphone, but they might not see the risk they are causing other drivers while doing it. If you see the risk that are involved with driving you can see why some people are scared of driving. If you can see the risk of driving while doing something, you see the risk you are causing yourself and people around you. The people that don't see the risk in what they are doing will soon enough. One day those drivers will get caught or do something dumb by running a red light to possibly being the reason behind a fatal car crash. Do you still want to check your phone and drive? Hopefully this law gets passed or at least the person doing it will get what they deserve. Putting at risk yourself and others to check a text? Or change the song? Its not worth it. But at least car companies are helping by adding blue tooth to cars and some going as far as being able to read the text to you while
