“It took me fifteen years to discover I had no talent for writing, but I couldn’t give it up because by that time I was too famous.” (Robert Benchley) Like Benchley I figured out I’m not very good at writing, unlike him writing has never made me famous. Writing essays and other academic assignments actually cause me stress. In writing this essay in three distinctive styles and learning the difference between them I can hope to become more confident in my writing.
