Write An Essay About Moving To A Small Town

Amy, a hardworking single mother of two boys, one of which is a diabetic, was posed with a very difficult situation. She had been offered a new job where she would be earning more than before, but in a town very far from home. She had to make a decision to either accept the new job and move closer to work or to stay put and see if it would work out in her current job. She decided to do what she thought was best for the family and for her so she took the new job. Months later, after school was let out for the summer the move began to a small New Hampshire town. Although the town seemed like a very nice place to raise a family, the boys were not thrilled with her decision to make such a big change to their life. The decision was made without warning to Amy and it truly took her by surprise that the move had been this bad for her child. This made her rethink her whole move and she began to cry, she was not ready to let her first son leave. She felt awful as she had the best intentions at heart when she made the decision to move and never once thought that this would be the outcome. Time passed by and her son was getting ready to move out and go back, with less than a month until his birthday and the holiday season approaching, Amy was more stressed than ever, she had no idea what she was going to do for the holidays this year because she was just not in the spirit to celebrate with everything going on around her. She was also very worried about how her son would manage his Diabetes and if he would make the right choices without her guidance.
