Write An Essay About Moving Back To School

When I came to the U.S in spring of 2008 and settled in Georgia at that time i didn't know any English. I was very shy especially because I didn't have any friends. In the school I was in there were a lot of people that didn't speak Spanish so I had to learn English in order to communicate with them and make friends. By the end of the year I had improved in my English and could even write it. However, my mom had decided that Georgia wasn't the place where I should grow up because it wasn’t a sanctuary state which would make it difficult for me to apply to college. She decided to move to Chicago, Illinois where a lot of people spoke Spanish. School was easier since there were lots of teachers who spoke Spanish. My grades went up yet I was losing what i needed the most, to learn English and be in an environment where they pushed me to succeed. After less than a year my mom had decided that we would go back to Georgia, but me and my sister didn't want to since we hadn't fully dominated the English language. In Georgia our life had been school and home everyday because our mom was always working and we didn’t have any family or friends.

The next year came around and instead me and my younger sister were sent back to Mexico because my mom understood that we didn’t want to go back to Georgia. We went to school but it was

I had a hard decision to make since I was born in Mexico and had moved back. I loved the culture, the language and the people. I had family all around but I wasn't focused on school. I wanted to complete my education because my mother has told me that she wants me to have a better life and she doesn't want me to see me struggle economically. She inspired me to want to be better than where i live and am right now. My mother had to leave her family to get us a better life, and she gave me the opportunity to work for what i want in life. I decided to go back to Georgia because I wanted a better
