The sun wasn't even quite up, yet the flames made the area almost bright as day, raging flames that lapped away at the bases of the large concrete structures built long before the war and dotted the wasteland for some distance, flames that stood as a testament to the cruelty and savageness of the attack as well as the power of the attacking gang. These flames had dwindled over time but many of the constructions of the trader camp still burned brightly and energetically.
