During the Wri101 course this semester, I had some really awful experiences throughout this course which almost made me lose hope in getting a good grade in this course. However I took that as an encouragement to me to improve myself in writing different kind of essays.
After what I have been through in Wri101 course, I started to know how to write good academic articles. In fact, I believe that in Wri102, I would start getting better not only in writing techniques but also in my usage of vocabulary. In fact, I started using lots of different kind of words that have the same meaning to strengthen my essay by avoiding writing the same expression over and over. Moreover, starting Wri102 course, I believe that I’m going to be more comfortable while writing because I learned a lot of things before entering that course such as the right way APA style works in both text, in text citations and references .In addition , I learned how to choose which quotes fit best with my argument . Furthermore, I have acquired the knowledge on how to critically analyze in a way that can attract the readers into reading my articles and getting hooked to it using WH questions. I learned all this knowledge about academic writing In Wri101 because of a reality that I had throughout that course, which made me more comfortable while writing academic articles and more determined to get better and better as I go through to Wri102. In fact, when I got my first assignment mark, I felt miserable and annoyed for some time because I got a low grade despite I worked really hard for it.
