Improved Essays
Wresting is a dangerous sport for anybody because a person can get numerous injuries. Some injuries are life threatening and some are easy fixable. Some injuries that always happen are: Strains/sprains, shoulder, knee, and head/face injuries, etc. I think young people should not be able to do wrestling as a sport because statics says that “Shoulder strains/sprains (8.5%), Ankle strains/sprains (7.6%), Knee strains/sprains (7.0%), Trunk strains/sprains (6.0%), strains/sprains (5.4%), and Concussions (5.4%) are the most common in high school & college wrestling. Wrestling is more dangerous for younger people than older people.
Younger people see the wrestling on TV and think that they are capable of doing that. Younger people fail to realize

Some people believe that if they change some of the sports to extensive levels these sports will become unpopular but the question is: Would you rather have people be safe and disinterested, or people be vulnerable to serious head injury and have millions watching at home? Many people could be juggling this idea in their head and it does depend on whose perspective it is coming from. There are many people playing these sports from ages 5-50 so you could have a five-year-old kid playing these dangerous sports with an undeveloped brain at risk of a head injury and a fifty-year-old at risk of these head injuries because of these sports. Thinking about ways to prevent these injuries would be great but then again, people are going to do what they love to do, and they are going to be passionate about it and if that means that they will put everything at risk they will do…

Youth football has been part of American sports for many decades. As I was sitting in class pondering a topic, I suddenly came upon the idea to tackle the question which as of late is a popular one. Is youth football a healthy sport to be played by our youth? I have a nephew 13 years old currently playing the sport, which by the way I myself refused to play. Most recently during a game which I had attended at Northview middle school where my nephew goes, a teammate of my nephew was going through a routine play, when suddenly he was blindsided by an unsuspecting blow.…

That even when you have 30 yards left to sprint and your brain and body say you can no longer go you push through and keep going. You rise early to go workout instead of staying in to sleep because you are tired.…
