Statement of the Problem. Findings from a CBS News investigation into Wounded Warrior Project’s financial records have brought negative attention to the charity, creating a damaging image of the organization and possible withdraw of donor financial support.
Purpose of the Study. The purpose of this study is to weigh the impact of the scandal surrounding the Wounded Warrior Project and determine how the public perceives the organization and its activities. During the study, researchers explored charitable giving habits and attitudes towards the Wounded Warrior Project. Information obtained from the pilot survey will generate information which may be used to make decisions that may help the organization move past the scandal.
