There is not one supermarket in the inner city of Detroit ,thats hard to believe with about one million people living there. But how could that be possible a city with not even one supermarket. Yes there are natural food stores around but they 're not all that cheap. Community gardens and greenhouses need to be made all through out the inner city, good healthy food is an important part of of healthy diet. There are many urban farms but do people don’t really know about them or care.Being easily accessible could be some peoples problem. And is it cheap to buy food from them? Those are all questions that need to be thought about for an urban farm to fulfill the needs of the people.
About eighteen minutes away from inner city detroit is a good market where a food share is seventeen or twenty dollars depending on the size. That price is really good except how are people going to get there if they don 't have or car or if the weather is bad , and many of the family won 't be able to pay that much every week.People are trying to turn areas into gardens but its just not working. They do not seem to have the right resources. And if they have the right resources something else seems to go wrong; a good system needs to be brought
