Pluralism means that there is more than one idea, principle, group, etc. It can be applied to anything, but is often used in culture and religion. Cultural pluralism occurs when cultures collide and merge their beliefs, values, and habits through communication and travel. Religious pluralism occurs when someone, or a group, believe in multiple ideas about the world and how it came to be (Shelly & Miller, 2006). The term “scientism” is also most often used in religion. It is the belief that science can explain ultimate reality, human beings, and any other of life’s questions (Shelly & Miller, 2006). It can also be defined as the one and only way to have knowledge about reality (“Lecture 1”, 2016). Postmodernism is another worldview that is becoming more popular because scientists argue that people live in a postmodern world. This is a belief that science does not give meaning to life, but suggests that one should find harmony in the world. This idea also rejects the idea of dualism (Shelly & Miller, 2006).

It is not something that happens on accident or by evolution.
What happens to a person at death? When a person dies, their journey is not over. There is an afterlife in which one is reunited with their earthly family, friends and Father in Heaven. This is a logical explanation because it coincides with the Christian worldview. It is also closely related to the other worldview questions because the answers are all similar in that God is the ultimate creator and has a plan for every single person.
