When determining my worldview as an educator, I have to take several things into account, the responsibility of the teacher, parents and the community. Through life, I have learned to adequately support the holistic person, it requires a community effort. As educators we are accountable for sufficiently conveying information to the student to guarantee academic achievement. The philosophy that comes to mind when I consider the responsibility of the educator today is idealism. Challenged by congress and presidential leadership in 2001 The No Child Left behind Act was designed to assure that all children receive a great education (William, 2003). Just as with past Idealism, it has continuously still been deemed important
