“What up Jake?” It was Jerry. “Nothing, just sailing to my death.” “Jake, you still have a chance of living, maybe we’ll be lucky and won’t fight!” “ Then why did they give us guns?” “ Look, just be positive and maybe we’ll have fun, HEY YOU!” Jerry was of course yelling at someone who he’s never seen before. “Hey who are you?” “Uhh, Jaime?” “So you’re a Jaime huh? That’s pretty cool, you wanna join us? “In what?” “Tic tac toe!” I started look at Jerry. In high school, Jerry was pretty broad but this seemed uncalled for. “With what?” asked a very confused Jaime. “Um… This rock!” Jerry practically fell to the ground and drew a tic tac sign on the floor. We dropped our guns and played until the end of the day. This was not Jerry. We were fed hardly anything in the week and a half trip, and we arrived they wanted us to stay aboard for the night. Halfway through my sleep a bomb went off I’m guessing in the room right next to me, Jerry’s room. We were the very outside rooms so either they had a very power boom burst or already raided the ship. Soldiers were fleeing their rooms. I slung my gun over my shoulder and sprinted out. Jerry’s body must have been obliterated in the blast. We looked over the bridge rail and found a Tag team of Nazi soldiers that must have slipped through and know about our attack. I was still groggy and just 2 minutes I was sleeping. I started fire on them. They got one more grenade off, but 1000 men versus 20 wasn’t easy to win. Only 3 people died today. Jerry from the grenade, and 2 others I probably didn’t
