That could be true due to the Japaneses honor code, but citizen two didn't think about how selfish and wrong the bombings were. All the US wanted was dominice, power, and revenge. Although the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did end the war, it was not justified. They didn't care if Japanese people died as long as more American people survived. Japan was already under a naval blockade so they had no way in getting equipment and supplies through to japan. Further restriction would have forced their surrender seeing how they were already
