World War II was a war involving a grand portion of nations around the world, that later formed two military alliances opposing each other; the Allies and the Axis. The Allies included the United States, Soviet Union, United Kingdom, France, and China among others. The Axis included Germany, Japan, and Italy. During and after the war, many advances were made in fields such as medicine, technology, rights, and economies. Life was forever changed because of the war and will remain a mark in human history forever. Due to the events of the war and its reaction on the world we can say that World War II had a positive effect on the post war life. To properly understand how and which effects of WWII became positive and have been part of the post war life we must know what progress was made thanks to the war. The fields which had the biggest gains were: medicine, technology, and rights movements. For instance women were allowed to wear pants and were given new privileged before only given to men, antibiotics and anesthesiology saved countless lives, and peace by founding the United Nations. New opportunities wee arising throughout the world, leading to what we live today. The battle fields and harsh conditions during World War II were the perfect breeding grounds for many diseases including Malaria, Dengue, and infectious bacteria which were killing millions of soldiers prematurely, leaving the world in search for a way to stop them.
