World War I: How I Changed My Everyday Life

I was a boy that was 18 years old and from America in 1918. My family was impacted pretty good by the war.My cousin and my dad was drafted with my two other brothers.My mom and I had to stay home and help with the home fronts.The people that stay home did many things like taking on jobs or businesses.They was many industries was closed like my dad's industry because he went to war.

It change my daily life a lot.The reason why is because I never had time to take off and spent time with my friends any more because many of them are fighting in the war or worried about people in the war. Another reason is I don't see any business open to the public.Also,I don't see any kids playing out on streets because they was worried about their dads and other people in their families.The post office was filled with letters and people were there to see if their love ones are dead or alive.Many people was crying with good tears and some was not so good tears.The people keep up with the news and letters.We got a letter from my dad and he said that he was still live it release some of my worries but he still fighting.

The war affect the future for me because we had to go to dept because of the war. The business open back up to the public and my dad lost money in them opens.The stock market went up a little bit.The war makes me fell granted about the stuff that I had.People that own bigger business made a lot more than business like my dad.They had more stuff than the smaller
