Nevertheless, not taking history doesn’t mean that we can’t learn from recent tragedies and events, and it doesn’t mean we can’t learn the lesson on how different things can lead to others. Remember, almost every person in the United States has the internet right at their fingers, whether it be via phone or computer; you even are on the internet just to read this paper. I’ve never learned about World War I, World War II, or ISIS in history class and I already know a lot about it. Why? Well it was either because I looked up a video about it because I was interested, I learned about it from a book in Language Arts class, or I saw something about it on the news. And why would we ever need to learn about how France and England way back when fought every other week. I don’t believe that history class will be important for my future.
As presented, history class is most definitely the subject that will have the least effect on me when I am older. As a future engineer, I will never need to know the entire history of the world. It seems pointless for me to go through history class without it being important for me. It only leaves me to think: Why do I need take
