The Beginning World War 2 was one of the most bloodiest, deadliest wars that the Americans have ever been in. It lasted a total of 6 years starting in 1939 and ending in 1945. The war involved over 30 countries and millions of people. There was millions of deaths and one of the main contributors was the holocaust. Casualties did affect all sides of the war, each country lost a major percent of their own population. Not only was the population hurt but there was a low amount of resources and a poor economy. World War 2 did more harm than good. The real war started in January of 1933 when Adolf Hitler was announced as Chancellor of Germany. Once Hitler was appointed as Chancellor, the first concentration camp opened in March of 1933. It was
