It can be assumed that since World War 1 aircrafts have been a major, progressing, factor in not only the U.S. but all over the world. Over the century, aircrafts have helped transport anything from mail, people, animals, and even food, to different places all over the world. Flying has made transportation faster, easier, and all around better. Of course there has been a few mishaps along the evolution of flying but modern technology, a better understanding, and better training have brought the pilots and their aircrafts a long way.
