In my World Religion Class, I have recently been given the assignment to write a couple two-page papers on the Holy Trinity of Hinduism and Karma. To be able to write these papers I decided it would be helpful to read through the Hinduism chapter of the World Religions Textbook. The video, “How to Read Your Textbooks More Efficiently – College Info Geek” by Thomas Frank outlined some tips for reading textbooks for a reason other than just to look over a certain amount of pages in a certain amount of time. Some of the tips he gave were specific for reading a text for the purpose of writing an essay. I found these tips to be most helpful.
