Here at The Robinson’s Community Outreach Center (RCOC) like to think of our marketing plan as a systematic method to reach our target audience. Our target audience would be communities within the Phoenix Metropolitan area that struggle with low incomes, at-risk youth, and underprivileged populations that are in need of assistance to reduce their day to day challenges. The Robinson’s center is determined to create a system that possess reliable resources to our clients, so they are aware that this organization has formed an atmosphere that truly cares and wants to see them succeed. The guidance the RCOC provides will be used as a tool to help them grow not only as individuals but the community as a whole. Since our target audience is aligned …show more content…
Volunteers in this department will be responsible for posting flyers around the community, participating in events, sending e-letters, and updating the RCOC website as well as all of our social media webpages. The agency’s website RCOC.org was developed by one of the five board members Kollen Dillworth who is a computer science graduate. The website is an attempt to evolve the organization by gaining new members, and donors. RCOC will measure our desired action list to provide information on how effective it is. Our website will be user friendly page that will have a call to action button that links individuals where they can easily take action in becoming a member, donating, attending events, advocacy initiatives, sharing testimonies, subscribing to get email updates, and a comment section. Additional, marketing actions regarding social media is keeping all our staff, volunteers, and board members communicating to the public through social media posting weekly regarding the issues with facts and statistics as well as posting on our events that we will be having to keep the community connect to our center and reel in new prospects that are interested in our …show more content…
When marketing through email the volunteers in the community outreach department will be responsible for sending out E-newsletter once every 1-2 weeks. The newsletter will include testimonials from clients, pictures of the facility, people participating in the programs, general updates about the updates, and an appreciate section thanking all of our volunteers, donors, clients, partners and members for being dedicated and supportive to RCOC. On the Robinson’s Community Outreach Center FaceBook page there will be multiple updates each week (ideally several per day) in regards to periodic promoted post for excellent resources or important messages. As far as Twitter, multiple tweets will be posted each day that promote hashtags that bring everyone together and really have them thinking about issues that are rising not only in Arizona, but occur all around the world like hunger statistics, poor education systems, and employment deficiencies. The RCOC thought process behind this effort is to engage the community on real world problems, so they can start formulating solutions and be active members in the community. Another social media outlet that the center will use as a platform to drive our mission will YouTube. A new video will be displayed on YouTube each month, one of the founders Malik Robinson will be in the videos and constructs the topics
