All around the world, enormous numbers of people go hungry and thirsty without enough healthy food every day. These people’s bodies will never develop the way their supposed to or fight off life-threating disease (Langley 4). It is very possible that their bodies are dainty and should become unwell over time. This means adults are unqualified to go to work, children cannot go to school, and learn the skills they need to know later in their life, and because they are so sick they are not able to be active without their body’s working too much. Poverty and hunger are part of a cycle. That one leads to the other. Hungry people often give birth to weak children and if they live in poverty its much worse because they are not able to get the food they need. Soon these children are then likely to repeat the cycle. (13). When people eat, they do not need enough food. The food should be healthy and full of nutrients. Eating good food keeps people fit and active, and fights off the illness or diseases they could get or already have. Good food should be clean and fresh. People should have a mixed diet because the human bodies work best on a mix of different foods instead of the same. For instance, people in Africa walk around with six-foot-tall bags of Cheetos to fill their stomachs (Dokkestul interview). But that does not mean these people are healthy. Many people eat too much. Today there are over one billion overweight people on earth. More than three hundred million of these people are classified as obese. Which is two-thirds of the United States. Obese people are more likely to die young. They are also more likely to suffer from cancer and many other diseases (Langley 39).
