“Let us pray that the Lord gives us the grace to envisage a world in which no one must ever again die of hunger. And asking for this grace, I give you my blessing.” The Church does not like to see that the world has to suffer or die because they deprived or can’t afford food. They are making an effort to prevent that from ever happening. The Church does not support world hunger and are helping organizations such as the “Anti-Hunger Global Campaign”. The Church fully supports it and doing everything they can to contribute. Some families are poor and are unable to provide food for them because of their lack of money. Raising the prices is not beneficial as well because the company’s food is getting scarce and scarcer everyday because of overproduction. Some of the prices are sometimes too excessive and it is very hard for even an average person to get. The United Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations are fully supported by the Church. They have an essential voice when discussing world hunger. The Church invites all people to make this campaign successful and ensure food for everyone. They fully support them because it is one step closer in eliminating world hunger, and it reminds people about the values that are taught in Catholic teachings. Pope Francis says that those with whom the Lord identified when he said, “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat”. He also used an example of when Jesus was spoken to one of the apostles. The Apostle said that he was hungry. They were poor, however, they managed to find loaves and fish. With the grace of God, they managed to feed an abundant amount of people and even had some leftovers. Pope Francis fully supports this campaign and is doing everything in his power to help out.
This campaign is major step in ending world hunger. If it is going to work, this campaign would save many lives and it is very beneficial for everyone. It is the first ever global campaign against hunger. Billions of people all over the world are in need of food. This campaign is present in over 200 countries primarily focusing on ending world hunger. If this campaign were to be successful, they plan to end world hunger by 2025. There are also little organizations that help out with the cause in countries. It may not be as big as this one, however, they still contribute in ending the
