If we’re lucky, at some point in our lives, someone profound will come along and change everything. These life changing people can be anyone, a family member, a friend, a teacher, and virtually anyone. Sometimes they’re the heroes we read about, they inspire the children who hold them in high regard and have a deep adoration for them. One hero, Beowulf, inspired his fellow warriors and followers while he was alive, and decades after his departure from Earth. After the death of Beowulf, the Geats built a lighthouse in honor of Beowulf, their own kind of elegy for a man they thought so highly of. From day one, all she knew was work, she had to work to support herself, and later her family. This woman wasn’t just hard working, she was motivated to constantly and consistently better her own life and the lives of those around her. With a lot of hard work and dedication, my great grandma and grandpa, chux, started their own business, Worland Radiator. Although she worked hard and long, she was sure to always be meticulous in the work she accomplished. Anyone who met my grandmother would be impressed with her gusto. It would be nearly impossible to choose just three things I respect about my grandma, she was and did so many great things in her life. By having such a legendary role model, It was demonstrated to be what it meant to be a good person by living proof. Even when she had a million and one different hardships going on, she always made sure to be attentive to her family. She would never settle for less than what she knew I were capable of, whether it be a task or something going on in my life.
