Worksite Wellness Proposal: A Case Study

The Chatham Health Alliance is currently looking for employers to assist in the development of a worksite wellness program for Chatham County employers, Worksite Wellness Chatham. The vision for Worksite Wellness Chatham takes a holistic view of health and will present levels that employers can choose from based on their needs and capacity. Through Worksite Wellness Chatham, the Chatham Health Alliance will serve as a catalyst to support employers in establishing and sustaining wellness programs .

The Chatham Health Alliance is a collaborative of local professionals and residents working together to improve health in Chatham County. The purpose of the Alliance is to bring both traditional and nontraditional partners together to work on issues affecting health in Chatham County, with a focus on the health …show more content…
The role of the Capstone Team will be to work with Chatham employers to determine their needs around worksite wellness, identify essential components of a Chatham worksite wellness program, and to develop tools that can be used by worksites across Chatham County to begin worksite wellness programs.

We are seeking employers representing diverse sectors, parts of Chatham, and size to work with the Capstone team as they determine the needs of Chatham employers around worksite wellness. This will include meeting with the Capstone team, likely between 1-3 times between September 2016 and December 2016 to discuss your site’s interests, needs, and capacity as it relates to employee wellness. The Capstone team will then use this information to develop a written program. This program will be presented to you in the spring of 2017 for review and comment.
