For years, people dealt with numerous forms of inequalities; whether it is race, gender, religion or other aspects that make humans different from each other, inequality occurs daily. Discrimination in the workplace is an example of inequality that is prevalent worldwide. Women, who are as equally trained, experienced and educated as men, do not get equal pay — causing a gender wage gap. Corbett and Hill (2012) found that females, ages 23 or older, who received post-secondary education from the same school as men, ages 23 or older, and who had a full-time job in 2009, earned 82% of what men earned. The relative wage of females began to increase sharply in 1970, with a slower rise thereafter (Blau and Kahn, 2016). The Institute for Woman’s Policy
