The successful team understands the team process, collaboration is required, because the team members should work together, solve the problems together, discuss ideas and help each other.

Dr. Meredith Belbin suggests nine team roles, which describe the behavior of the team members. His team role definition is used by many organizations, because it shows the strengths and weaknesses in teamwork. The nine team roles are as it follows: the Plant (strongly creative), the Monitor Evaluator (gives unbiased proposals), the Co-ordinator, the Resource investigator (keeps the team connected to the world outside), the Implementer (plans the strategy), the Completer finisher (in the end checks for mistakes and corrects), the Teamworker (keeps team’s members together), the Shaper (motivates the team to work), the Specialist (the knowledgeable person).

Many organizations all over the world increasingly prefer to have people work in teams then individually, because often it gives better results and it is more effective. Still the team building is a complex process. The forming-storming-norming-performing model from Bruce Tuckman (1965) shows that when the team reaches maturity, bonds between the team members establish and the leadership style of the leader goes through some changes and the main result is that the leader’s power is reduced while group’s freedom and rights increase and in the last stage task needs
