Factory Simulation Essay The Industrial Revolution was a time to change in England, although the technology was changing for the better with new inventions, there were many difficulties with jobs and child factory workers. The child workers battled their boss when they were yelled at and put down, to solve the problems there could be better workplaces for the children, the change for them came in the Factory Act of 1833. When at their workplace or factory, these child laborers were yelled at, and put down. They were working in very harsh and dangerous areas where anyone can get hurt. In order for people to get jobs in the Industrial Revolution, you had to work for cheap, the cheapest workers are the people who don’t need money as much, children. Children were hired and put into treacherous working conditions with greedy and inconsiderate bosses, making them feel like they are not needed, and unwanted, a nobody. Something needed to be done, if I had the say on how to help the children, I would create a rule or law that set some boundaries on equipment in the factory, and have annual factory checks. The law would be that the maximum amount of hours a kid under 12 years old can work a day is 8 hours. They should also make rules for their workers saying that they may not have any loose articles of clothing so they don’t get caught in a machine. At the same time, the factory owner should be able to provide uniforms for them to wear including shoes to keep their feet safe, clothes to keep their body safe, and hats to keep their head safe from injury. The annual factory checks are just safety check. A person goes into each factory and has to fall in line with certain guidelines. If the factory does not pass the guidelines it must be shut

These conditions were dangerous to an extreme because of different jobs like having to change the bobbins while the machine is still running because there is no way to really turn it off, plus the bosses would most likely never allow it to be turned off because the production levels would go down.
